RIM announces 5 BlackBerry devices

RIM has today announced 5 BlackBerry devices featuring OS 7 in their launch party in UK. The phones that were announced are listed below:

• BlackBerry Bold 9900
• BlackBerry Bold 9930
• BlackBerry Torch 9850
• BlackBerry Torch 9860
• BlackBerry Torch 9810

All these devices run RIM’s new BlackBerry 7 operating system. Here are the launch slides that were presented to the audience in launch party in UK:

BlackBerry Dakota – Keypad with Touchscreen – No Slide

I know quite a few people who love to have a touch-screen phone that has a keypad as well, and they are still not fond of slide form factor. For all those who need such a phone, BlackBerry Dakota  has been a best kept secret. I actually love slide phones, especially BlackBerry Torch, but Dakota is still tempting. BlackBerry Dakota got leaked and the rumor spread last week and the rumored specs are really mouth watering.

I love my Black Torch

BlackBerry Torch is now available in white and red on AT&T but I love my Black one. It’s very elegant and looks much better than the new white and red variants. What do you think?
