This week the world has seen several BlackBerry phones from the future. The phones that you’ll get to see in this post include the BlackBerry Torch 2, Storm 3, yet another Curve and last but not least, BlackBerry Dakota. We know about storms, curves and torches but Dakota is a different phone in a sense that it brings the non-slide qwerty keyboard with a touch-screen as well. Here come the details:

BlackBerry Dakota
I know quite a few people who love to have a touch-screen phone that has a keypad as well, and they are still not fond of slide form factor. For all those who need such a phone, BlackBerry Dakota has been a best kept secret. I actually love slide phones, especially BlackBerry Torch, but Dakota is still tempting. BlackBerry Dakota got leaked and the rumor spread last week and the rumored specs are really mouth watering.
Here is the list of features and specs known so far:
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
- Tri-band UMTS
- 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording, flash, and image stabilization
- 4GB of built in storage, 768MB of RAM

It’s been quite some time online world has been rumored about BlackBerry Storm 3. Recently we got to see a new photo of the rumored Storm 3 and some accompanying specs.

If you are a touch-screen fan and don’t want a QWERTY keypad and look forward to a lot of performance boost and style, you should wait for Storm 3 to come put. If you are a typical BlackBerry user, you may find BlackBerry Torch 3 a better option.

SonyEricsson’s Android based PSP phone caught on video for us. This is really exciting to finally see a phone with dedicated gaming keys. Playing games on touchscreen is fun but the conventional gaming keys have a lot of value. The phone has the four direction keys, four action keys conventionally found on the PSP and a few more controls. The touchscreen, accelerometer and orientation sensing adds loads of value on top of the Android operating system.

Samsung terminates Symbian developer support

Samsung sends a reminder to Samsung app-developers today reminding them the termination date of Symbian developer support. Samsung will no more support Symbian app development on their handsets for obvious reasons. They are pushing hard with their BADA platform on some of their phones and Android on rest of their smart-phone family. The termination includes closure of Symbian Lab.dev on 29th December, Symbian forum gets closed on 30th December and Symbian content will be removed on 31st December.
