Same error here. I get that 907 Invalid COD on my BB 8310 every time i try…

Ahmad, I think we are in a similar boat. The issues of connectivity you are having are because of the restriction and blocking of BB services. All careers in Pakistan have blocked BB services partially so your Twitter, Facebook etc does’nt work. Even your native BB browser is busted as well. I cant think of a solution till RIM and PTA has some agreement on things.

They had it in Saudia, I don’t know if they’ll have a consensus here in PK or not.

I have Appworld 2 installed on my BB Curve 8900. But I am not able to connect as it gives an error “App World is not available in your country, Please contact your system administrator …….”
Similarly, FB Application is not getting connected and Gives the Error “We are unable to connect to Facebook Servers at this time, ……..”
My career is Ufone……
Is there a way that i can connect

I agree, the Nokia N8 is the better overall phone. I’ve never been traditionally a fan of Nokia, unlike yourself, but I think that the N8 was a long time coming.

Nokia are the biggest manufacturer in the world, but they’ve let other brands take over the smart phone market! I think the Nokia N8 will mark Nokia’s arrival into the league alongiside Apple, HTC, and Sony Ericsson and Samsung. With it’s brilliant camera the Nokia N8 really stands out against the iPhone 4, and I also like the different colours it’s available in.

This kind of installation used to work with my BB9700 until today. Starting today, whenever I get into AppWorld I receive an error message stating “BB AppWorld is having trouble connecting to the BB App World Server. Verify your network connection and try again”.
Obviously the net connection is working just fine. I got reports that more such installs got this error message lately so there might be some changes on RIM side.
Any known workarounds for this?

I suspect some other phones do that too as I always stay hooked up with GPRS/EDGE, I’ve felt it more often. I think instead of guesses we’ve to do some actual experiments to be more certain.

I’ve experienced this on an Android as well as iPhone. I don’t think this happens on BB. BB is a class A GPRS device unlike the others.

Thanks for pointing that out.

At the time of writing this article, there were no dual core i5s out there as per my knowledge.

Today, it depends which i5 you are looking at. For example i5-750 has 4 cores while your example had 2 cores in i5.
